Welcome to the Global Classroom! This is a blog dedicated to an online learning environment for my 7th grade World Geography students at Lewis Palmer Middle School. This is a forum for discussion and communication between myself, my students, their families, and our community.

Barbarica is a land where there arnt many human rights. There they dont have the right to bear arms of the right to press. If my sister was kidnaped there, I would do everything inside my power, unless foolish, to save her. I would most likely envolve other countries that are freindly to ours becaus they are more likely to assist us. I would take many risks to save my sister, but I would avoid involving the barbarican government or rioting because I could mysteriusly dissapear as well and how would that save my sister? I think this simulation is realistic because something of this sort has happend before.

Our county has more freedom. we have freedom of speech. Which means that we can say anything about politics or anything else. We would not get thrown into jail, like the people that were trying to find Jaun did. Also, we have freedom of religion. In the play one of the people that were trying to find Jaun got thrown into jail because they didnt want anyone who was a certain religion to have a say in what they think. those are just a few of the freedoms that we have.
